Mi nombre es Maribel Sanchez. Soy maestra de cuarto grado y parte del programa dual. Nací en la ciudad de México y llegue a los Estados Unidos desde los 8 años. Estudie en las escuelas de Denver desde segundo año hasta que me gradué. Vivo con mi esposo y mis dos hijas. Ya tengo 24 años ensañando en las Escuelas Publicas de Denver y 11 años en CMS. Ha sido una bendición trabajar en CMS. Yo me identifico mucho con mis alumnos porque yo también llegue sin saber ingles y tuve los mismos obstáculos que nuestras familias. Para mi CMS es verdaderamente una comunidad donde apoyamos a nuestras familias y trabajamos mucho para proveer la mejor educación para nuestros alumnos.
Mis pasatiempos incluyen leer, salir a caminar, andar en bicicleta y bailar. Me encanta la naturaleza y pasar tiempo en las montañas con mi familia.
My name is Maribel Sanchez. I teach fourth grade in the Dual Language program. I was born in Mexico City and I arrived in the USA at the age of 8. I did all my schooling from second grade to 12th grade in the Denver Pubic Schools. I live with my husband and two daughters. This is my 24th year teaching in DPS and my 11th year teaching at CMS. It has been a blessing to be part of the CMS community. I relate to many of my students since I also had to learn English and had many of the same obstacles our families face. CMS is a community where we support our families and work hard to provide the best education for our students.
My hobbies include reading, walking, bike riding and dancing. I love the outdoors and spending time in the mountains with my family.
